and disposals were reported by 2100 GMT on Friday: 
     
    ** Canada's MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd  MDA.TO  
said it would buy U.S.-based satellite imagery provider 
DigitalGlobe Inc DGI.N for about C$3.10 billion ($2.40 billion), 
the biggest deal yet in a fast-consolidating earth-imaging

    ** France's Safran  SAF.PA  on Thursday rejected criticism 
by a UK hedge fund over a proposed $9 billion offer for Zodiac

sold 100 percent of Daesung Industrial Gases, South Korea's
