NASH drug developers fall as Lilly's drug shows promise in trial

** Shares of companies developing drugs to treat NASH fall
premarket after Eli Lilly's  LLY.N  weight loss drug met the
main goal of a mid-stage trial in patients with the fatty liver
disease 
    ** LLY said Tuesday that tirzepatide helped as much as 73.9%
of patients achieve "absence of the disease" with no worsening
of liver scarring at 52 weeks
    ** Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a type of fatty
liver disease with no approved treatments in the market 
    ** Shares of Madrigal Pharmaceuticals  MDGL.O , which is
seeking U.S. FDA approval for its NASH drug, down 15.5% to
$192.62; shares of rival Akero Therapeutics  AKRO.O  down 15% to
$17.05
    ** Shares of other NASH drug developers such as 89bio Inc
 ETNB.O  fall 10.7%, NeuroBo Pharmaceuticals  NRBO.O  down at
3.4%
