Nov 12 (Reuters) - Italian power company A2A A2.MI posted on Wednesday a 4% year-on-year decline in its nine-month core profit to 1.73 billion euros ($2.02 billion), due to lower hydroelectric production.
However, the Milan-based company's revenue rose 12% to 10.17 billion euros, supported by wholesale energy commodity prices.
Italy's biggest regional utility confirmed it is targeting its core profit in 2025 at the upper end of 2.17-2.20 billion euro range.
