** A.O. Smith AOS.N shares up 3.5% at $67 in early trade after co's Q1 revenue beat analyst estimates

** Co posts Q1 revenue of $963.9 mln, higher than analyst estimates of $954 mln, according to data compiled by LSEG

** AOS maintained 2025 revenue forecast between $3.8 billion and $3.9 billion

** Also maintained 2025 adjusted profit outlook in the range of $3.60 to $3.90 per share

** Co posts Q1 net income of $136.6 million, or 95 cents per share, compared with $147.6 million, or $1 per share, a year earlier

** 5 of 15 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, 9 "hold" and 1 "sell"; their median PT is $75

** As of last close, stock had fallen 1.7% YTD
