Oct 9 (Reuters) - US stock indexes advanced broadly on Friday and were on pace to clock weekly gains, as investors looked forward to the earnings season next week. .N
     
At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.74% at 51,609.03. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.54% at 7,807.08, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.54% at 27,339.85.
