Oct 9 (Reuters) - US stock indexes edged higher on Friday as oil prices retreated on easing Middle East supply concerns, though telecom shares remained under pressure after SpaceX's spectrum acquisition raised competitive concerns across the sector. .N
     
At 11:32 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.48% at 51,479.82. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.42% at 7,797.96, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.44% at 27,312.91.
