May 13 (Reuters) - Dutch lender ABN Amro ABNd.AS doesn't expect likely European Central Bank interest-rate increases to curb loan growth or push borrowers toward private credit, CEO Marguerite Bérard told journalists on a media call.
The Dutch lender expects the European Central Bank to raise rates by a total of 50 basis points this year before reversing course in 2027, and has cut its gross domestic product forecasts for the Netherlands and the euro zone as inflation worries rise and the economic outlook weakens.
