ABVC rises after positive update on brain disorder drug trial

** Shares of ABVC Biopharma Inc  ABVC.O  gain 3.6% to $0.84
in early trade
    ** Co provides an update on one part of its mid-stage trial
testing its experimental drug, ABV-1505, for treating attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nGNX62mwt2
    ** Says 30 subjects have now been enrolled in the study,
with 18 participants completing an 8-week treatment; expects to
enroll nearly 100 patients in Taiwan and the United States
    ** Also says University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)
Medical Center Institutional Review Board has approved
participation in the study, to begin Q4 this year
    ** With UCSF participation, apart from five Taiwan sites, co
anticipates enrollment for study will accelerate substantially;
expect to complete study in Q3 2023
    ** ADHD is marked by ongoing pattern of inattention and/or
hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or
development
    ** Including session gains, stock down ~75% YTD
