U.S. stock index futures inched higher on Wednesday as investors remained
optimistic about rate cuts from the Federal Reserve starting early next year,
while waiting for more data on the labor market.  .N 
    
    At 7:02 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.10% at 36,224. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.17% at 4,583, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.21% at
15,941.75.
