The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq made a slight recovery on Friday as Treasury yields
retreated from multi-year highs, while shares of Ford jumped on news of progress
in labor talks with workers' union. .N 
    
    At 11:35 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.21% at
34,142.35. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.57% at 4,354.56 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.87% at 13,339.542.
