** Shares of industrial technology firm Acuity Brands
 AYI.N  down 5.4% at $152 premarket
    ** Co misses Q3 sales expectations, hurt by lower volumes
    ** Reports Q3 sales fall 5.7% to $1 bln, compared with
analysts' estimate of $1.05 bln, per Refinitiv data
    ** However, AYI posts adjusted EPS of $3.75 in Q3, beating
expectations of $3.72
    ** Up to Wednesday's close, stock had fallen near 3% YTD
