discontinued early due to success

** Independent data monitoring committee will not be
required to perform an interim analysis as originally planned -

** Trial tested 32 patients with CDI enrolled and randomized
in a 1:1 ratio to either ibezapolstat 450 mg or to a CDI
standard of care, Vancomycin
** Based on observed aggregate blinded data ACXP has
determined that both treatments have performed as expected
** Adds that high rates of clinical cure were observed
without any emerging safety concerns
** ACPX said it will analyze the data and report topline
efficacy results promptly
** Up to Friday's close, stock down 62.3% YTD
