newly created role of president, overseeing Disney Live Action
and 20th Century studios, reporting to Disney Entertainment
co-Chairman Alan Bergman, Walt Disney Studios announced on
Monday.
- Exxon Mobil Corp XOM.N said on Monday it may preempt
Chevron Corp's CVX.N acquisition of a 30% stake in a giant
Guyana oil block, the centerpiece of its deal for Hess Corp
HES.N .
- Online travel platform Expedia EXPE.O said on Monday it
was cutting about 1,500 jobs globally, or about 9% of its total
workforce, as part of its "organizational and technological
transformation".
