** Co says its experimental drug to treat Parkinson's
disease could have beneficial effects on non-motor symptoms
(NMS) like excessive saliva, forgetfulness and urinary urgency
in an animal study
** The drug candidate, dipraglurant, has already shown
positive effects on human motor symptoms like dyskinesias or
involuntary movements associated with levodopa therapy in a
mid-stage trial -ADXN
** Dipraglurant targets a receptor called metabotropic
glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) involved in various brain
functions, including memory, cognition and motor behavior
** As of last close, stock was up ~58% this year
