U.S. stock indexes were flat on Thursday, as investors assessed a string of
economic data ahead of the Federal Reserve's closely watched inflation report,
while Micron and pharmacy chain Walgreens Boots Alliance slumped on
disappointing forecasts.  .N 
    
    At 13:35 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.29% at
39,239.55. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.12% at 5,484.4 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.36% at 17,869.149.
