ZURICH, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Adecco ADEN.S is seeing increased hiring activity by defence companies, Chief Executive Denis Machuel said on Tuesday, as governments respond to heightened security concerns following Russia's invasion of Ukraine and make commitments to NATO spending targets.
"It starts to pick up. We see a bit more movement in Germany than France, particularly related to the incentive package the Chancellor has put in place," Machuel said after the staffing company reported second quarter earnings.
"I cannot say we have some immense traction, but we have secured some very important partnerships with all the major players," he said, referring to companies like Rheinmetall RHMG.DE, Airbus AIR.PA and Leonardo LDOF.MI
"We know there is going to be traction in the coming quarters."
