** Shares of British insurer Admiral Group ADML.L up 3.3% to touch a record high of 3,470 pence

** Stock is top gainer on FTSE 100 .FTSE index, which is up 0.2%

** Co posts H1 PBT up 67% Y/Y, helped by competitive pricing and strong performance in its core UK motor insurance arm

** Including session moves, ADML up about 31% YTD, compared to around 12% FTSE 100 gain in 2025
