UK's Admiral rises on higher annual profit, strength in motor insurance business

** Shares of British insurer Admiral ADML.L rise 3.7% to 2,966p; stock among top gainers on FTSE 100 index .FTSE

** Co posts annual pre-tax profit from continuing operations of 957.9 million pounds ($1.28 billion) vs. 826.5 million pounds in 2024

** Co's UK motor insurance business reports 1.02 billion pound annual profit as compared to 955 million pounds in 2024

** Says final dividend of 90.0 pence per share

** In 2025, ADML rose ~22.21%
