April 23 (Reuters) - Payment services firm Adyen ADYEN.AS on Thursday agreed to buy German software company Talon. One for a total cash consideration of 750 million euros ($878 million).
Following the transaction, Talon. One co-founders Christoph Gerber and Sebastian Haas will reinvest a "meaningful portion" of their proceeds in newly issued shares in the Amsterdam-listed firm, Adyen said in a statement.
The company also reported a 20% rise in first-quarter revenue, on a constant currency basis, to nearly 621 million euros.
It confirmed its financial objectives for 2026.
The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of the year, pending conditions and regulatory approvals.
