Shirley Campbell and Mohammed Saddiq join the board with immediate effect. Welcoming the appointments, Tideway's Chair Michael Queen said: "I am delighted to welcome Shirley and Mohammed to the board. They bring a wealth of experience from the infrastructure and utility sectors, with strategic and operational perspectives. Their contributions will be invaluable as we steer Tideway through the closing stages of the Thames Tideway Tunnel project and shape the company's transition for the future." Ms Campbell and Mr Saddiq replace independent non-executive directors Sir Neville Simms and Richard Morse who stepped down earlier this year after nine years on the Tideway board. Notes Shirley Campbell is a non-executive director of Sellafield Ltd and a strategic advisor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. During her executive career she held several people leadership roles including at Aviva, Heriot-Watt University and Scottish Water where she was Chief People Officer from 2011 to 2023. Ms Campbell was the President of Water Aid Scotland from 2018 to 2023. Mohammed Saddiq is a non-executive director of Kier Group Plc and Bristol Climate and Nature Partnership CIC. During his executive career he held several senior operational roles in the energy and water sectors, including Executive Director of Wessex Water Operations and Managing Director of Swiss Combi Technology. Mr Saddiq was Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bristol between 2020 and 2022. He is Lord-Lieutenant of the County of Somerset.
