The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

    POLITICS
    Two Italian military planes on Monday evacuated 96 people
out of Sudan, as Western, Arab and Asian nations rushed to get
their citizens out of the African country amid an eruption of
violence.
    Italy offered Tunisia a prospect of money in exchange for
economic and political reforms as European Union foreign
ministers discussed on Monday how to respond to growing
instability in a country that is a gateway for African migration
to Europe.
    
    DEBT
    Italy's Treasury said on Monday it would offer up to 9
billion euros in bonds at an auction on April 27.
    
    COMPANIES
    UNICREDIT
    Goldman Sachs raised a stake in Italian bank UniCredit
 CRDI.MI  it built mostly through various financial derivative
contracts to 7.62% as of April 18, a regulatory filing showed on
Monday.
    
    ENEL  ENEI.MI 
    Italy's Treasury has told investors it wants utility Enel to
continue to play a leading role in renewable energies while
accelerating the disposal of assets and maintaining its dividend
policy, two sources familiar with the matter said.
    The Treasury has hired Morrow Sodali to organise a virtual
roadshow with the energy group's investors ahead of a May 10
shareholders meeting due to vote on a new board for the group,
two people with knowledge of the matter said on Monday.
    
    TECHNOPROBE  TPRO.MI   
    The Italian microelectronics company said on Monday that
Italy's Bourse had approved the transfer of its shares to the
Euronext Milan market from smaller Euronext Growth Milan (EGM),
which is dedicated to small and medium enterprises.
  
        AEDES SIIQ  AED.MI 
    First of two-day of suspension from Euronext Milan ahead of
de-listing on April 27.
    
    M&A - ITA AIRWAYS
    Italy's Treasury and Germany's Lufthansa  LHAG.DE  have
agreed to extend exclusive talks over the sale of ITA Airways
until May 12 from the previous deadline of April 24, a source
close to the matter told Reuters on Monday.

    Rome, wreath-laying ceremony at the Altar of the Fatherland
on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Liberation Day
with President Sergio Mattarella, Senate Speaker Ignazio La

Minister Giorgia Meloni (0700 GMT).
    Rome, Industry Minister Adolfo Urso participates in
demonstration promoted by the Jewish community of Rome (0700
