Oxy-led rescue plan for Italian fashion group Aeffe worth around $130 million ROME, Sept 30 (Reuters) - The rescue plan for Italy's Aeffe, led by turnaround specialist Oxy Capital, is worth around €115 million ($130.46 million), the struggling fashion group said on Wednesday.
The plan, expected to protect more than 700 jobs, will see the creation of three independent companies indirectly controlled by Oxy and designed to continue, respectively, the Moschino brand, the Alberta Ferretti brand, and the Pollini business.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the first weeks of 2027, Aeffe said
The offer envisages the acquisition of all the business assets of Aeffe and Pollini for a cash consideration, plus the assumption of Aeffe's restructured liabilities under Italian corporate crisis rules
The investment will be made by a group of industrial and financial co-investors. Illimity Banca Ifis IF.MI is envisaged as the entity responsible for providing the so-called “plan financing”
Execution of the definitive agreements with co-investors is expected by October 2026
