U.S. stock indexes were set for a lower open on Wednesday after sharp gains on
Wall Street in the previous session as investors parsed through earnings reports
from companies for impact of spiraling inflation on growth.  .N 
    
    At 9:18 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.13% at 31,751. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.08% at 3,934.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were
flat at 12,274.5.
