U.S. stock indexes were set to open lower on Wednesday after top retailer
Target's dour holiday forecast stoked fears of inflation hurting a crucial
business season for retailers.  .N 
    At 10:42 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.12% at
33,631.72. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.50% at 3,971.76 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.39% at 11,201.03.
