** Drone maker AEVEX AVEX.N on track to open above offer price in NYSE debut

** Stock recently indicated to open between $23 and $25 per share vs $20 offer price

** Solana Beach, California-based AEVEX sold 16 million shares within marketed ​range of $18 to $21 apiece to raise $320 million

** Listing comes day after aerospace and defense parts maker Arxis ARXS.O closed about 38.4% higher in its Nasdaq debut

** AEVEX marks the second defense tech listing this week, while components manufacturer Elmet is poised to go public in New York next week

** AEVEX provides airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance offerings to the U.S. government and ​its allied forces

** Its portfolio includes unmanned systems that can deliver munitions, explosive payloads ‌and ⁠guided strikes against targets
