The benchmark S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose on Friday after services sector data
pointing to a weaker economy raised bets of faster interest-rate cuts this year,
hours after robust jobs data doused expectations of rapid easing.  .N 
    
    At 13:37 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.04% at
37,456.46. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.20% at 4,698.24 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.26% at 14,548.545.
