Australia's Amplitude Energy jumps on gas supply deal with AGL Energy

** Shares of Australian oil and gas producer Amplitude Energy AEL.AX jump as much as 6.7% to A$1.835, their biggest intraday percentage rise since March 30

** Co signs deal with AGL Energy AGL.AX, the country's largest power producer, to supply ~20 petajoules of gas over four years from its East Coast Supply Project

** Shares in AGL fall as much as 0.7% to A$9.435, their lowest since March 24

** AEL up 3.2% as of 0113 GMT, adding over 1% in value so far this week

** AEL down 39.21% this year, including the day's move
