Wall Street's main indexes rose over 1 percent on Tuesday, in a broad-based
rally fueled by a tentative deal reached by American lawmakers to avoid another
partial government shutdown and hopes that the U.S.-China trade talks could
result in an agreement.  .N 
    At 11:56 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.33 percent at
25,386.33. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.23 percent at 2,743.15 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 1.36 percent at 7,407.372.
