Agnico Eagle Mines to acquire Rupert Resources for C$2.9 billion

April 20 (Reuters) - Agnico Eagle Mines AEM.TO will acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Rupert Resources RUP.TO for about C$2.9 billion ($2.12 billion), the companies said on Monday.
