Oct 31 (Reuters) - Hong Kong-based insurer AIA Group 1299.HK posted a 25% rise in its third-quarter value of new business on Friday, boosted by its flagship Hong Kong unit — which logged a record high quarterly VONB.
AIA's VONB, which gauges expected profits from new premiums and is a key barometer for future growth, came in at $1.48 billion on a constant exchange currency basis for the three months ended September 30, compared with $1.16 billion a year ago.
