AIM Immunotech gains on research deal for cancer drug study
** Shares of drug developer AIM Immunotech AIM.A rise ~15%
to 72 cents in early trading
** Co says has entered into collaborative clinical research
agreement with Erasmus Medical Center and drugmaker AstraZeneca

** Under the deal, Erasmus Medical Center will conduct a
clinical trial to evaluate a combination of AIM's drug Ampligen
and AstraZeneca's AZN.L immunotherapy durvalumab as a
potential treatment for metatastic pancreatic cancer
** Co is also separately evaluating Ampligen as a potential
treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer in a mid-stage study
** Up to last close, AIM has fallen ~31% in the last 12
months
