Announcement of Share and GDR Repurchase Programme

 

 

Almaty, Kazakhstan - Further to the announcement of Air Astana JSC (the
"Company") on 20 May 2024 relating to the extension of its buyback programme
to the London Stock Exchange ("LSE"), the Company today announces that it has
appointed Citigroup Global Markets Limited ("Citi") to purchase global
depositary receipts ("GDRs") traded on the LSE as part of the programme (the
"Programme").

 

The Company has engaged Citi, in its capacity as corporate stockbroker and
riskless principal for the Company, to purchase GDRs traded on the LSE, during
the period commencing on the date hereof and ending on 12 August 2024. The
purchases will be executed at the prevailing market price, in accordance with
the rules of the relevant exchange and in compliance with the applicable
market abuse legislation.

 

As of 11 June 2024, the Company has a balance of 3,993,234 shares available
for repurchase under the Programme in the form of shares or GDRs through 8
February 2025.

 

The Company intends to continue to announce the results of its Programme on a
regular basis.
