Wall Street's main indexes hit a more than one-week low on Tuesday, as investors returning from a long holiday weekend worried about the legality of President Donald Trump's tariffs and awaited crucial economic reports. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.01% at 45,086.76. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.29% at 6,376.66, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 1.60% at 21,112.30.
