Air Liquide posts first-half results in line with expectations July 28 (Reuters) - French industrial gases group Air Liquide AIRP.PA reported half-year operating earnings broadly in line with expectations on Tuesday, helped by strong second-quarter growth and a growing order backlog.
The company, which supplies gases such as oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen to factories and hospitals, said recurring operating profit rose to 2.89 billion euros in the first six months of the year, compared with 2.74 billion euros a year ago.
