** New Zealand's flag carrier carrying out a strategic review to "reset" its business over persistent engine maintenance delays, weak travel demand, and higher costs

** Co reports HY loss before tax of NZ$59 million ($35.40 million), significantly wider than the Visible Alpha consensus estimate of loss of NZ$21 million

** Co warned of uncertainty in its discussions with engine manufacturers regarding compensation for engine shortage

** YTD, stock down 2.6% including the day's moves
