** Rubber-based products maker AirBoss of America Corp's
BOS.TO shares jump 22.4% to a record high of C$30.44
** BOS subsidiary AirBoss Defense Group (ADG) wins contract
worth up to $576 mln by the U.S. Department for Health and Human
Services (HHS) urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nGNXBl1CM
** The contract is for the sale of nitrile patient
examination gloves, and HHS has provided ADG authorization to
proceed immediately on an initial order expected to be worth up
to $288 mln - BOS
** Nitrile rubber gloves are in continuous demand by many
agencies within the federal government, and are used in
hospitals and other healthcare settings
** BOS stock rose ~58% YTD, as of last close
