    European Investment Bank commits €3 billion to Airbus
    BRUSSELS, June 29 (Reuters) - The European Investment Bank is committing €3 billion  ($3.42 billion) to planemaker Airbus AIR.PA to boost Europe's industrial base, the European Union's official EBS TV channel said on Monday.
    The EIB said a formal statement was expected later.
    ($1 = 0.8770 euros)
