Kepler Cheuvreux ups Airbus as supply issues ease
BUZZ-Kepler Cheuvreux ups Airbus as supply issues ease ** Kepler Cheuvreux upgrades European aerospace manufacturer Airbus AIR.PA to "buy" from "hold" on improving sector sentiment and easing supply chain constraints
** The brokerage notes that the improved market sentiment is supported by prospects of the Strait of Hormuz reopening and a decline in oil prices
** The broker raises its price target by 8% to €212 ($244) per share, eying an acceleration in aircraft deliveries as production and supply bottlenecks begin to ease
** Kepler Cheuvreux adds that "robust demand and production" promise bigger potential of margin growth for the aerospace firm
** Kepler's analysts point out that further upside could materialise from a resolution to the dispute over the Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan aircraft engines
** At 0750 GMT the stock was up 2.6%, trimming down the year-to-date losses to just over 3%
** Out of 24 analysts who cover Airbus 19 rate the stock "strong buy" or "buy", while five rate it "hold"
