Pre-close Trading Update and Notice of Results

 

Strong trading as major investment and business transformation near completion

 

AIREA plc (AIM: AIEA), the UK design-led specialist flooring company, supplying both the UK and international markets, today announces the following trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2025 (the 'Period').

 

Trading update

The encouraging start to the year continued into the second quarter with Group sales for the Period 5.8% ahead of the prior year at £9.81m (H1 2024: £9.27m).

 

The UK and ROI delivered a strong performance, with sales at the end of the Period 7.3% ahead of the prior year. Following a slower start to the year, sales in the Group's international markets recovered well in the second quarter, ending the Period 0.3% above the prior year.

 

The Group continues to make good progress on its longer-term strategy. As planned, the major investment in the Group's manufacturing facility is scheduled for completion by the end of the third quarter.

 

Outlook

The third quarter has started strongly, with solid trading and a healthy order book in July. The Group's pipeline continues to strengthen, with several innovative product launches planned for the second half.

 

The Board expects this momentum to continue through the remainder of the year, supported by the major investment and wider transformation, which will enhance operational capabilities and drive future profitable growth.

 

The Board remains confident in the Group's long-term prospects and its ability to deliver sustainable shareholder value.

 

Notice of interim results

The Group's interim results for the Period will be announced on 30 September 2025.
