Transaction in Own Shares

 

London and Lagos, 15 April 2025: Airtel Africa announces today it has
purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each from
Barclays Capital Securities Limited pursuant to the authority granted by its
shareholders as part of its share buy-back programme, details of which were
announced on 23 December 2024.

Aggregate information:

 Date of purchase                                14 April 2025
 Aggregate number of ordinary shares purchased:  400,840
 Lowest price paid per share (GBp):              155.30p
 Highest price paid per share (GBp):             158.00p
 Volume weighted average price paid (GBp):       157.60p

 

The purchased ordinary shares will be held in treasury by the Company.

 

Following the purchase of these ordinary shares, the remaining ordinary shares
of USD 0.50 each in issue will be 3,670,529,876, including 5,013,591 treasury
shares. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is
3,665,516,285. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under
the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

December 2024, the Company has purchased 23,800,419 ordinary shares in
aggregate, at a volume weighted average price of 132.1491 GBp per ordinary
share.
