Sept 23 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.4%.
* AIRTEL MONEY: Airtel Money, the mobile money arm of Airtel Africa AAF.L, announced on Wednesday that it intends to file for an initial public offering in London.
* DIAGEO: Guinness maker Diageo DGE.L named Joanne Wilson, finance chief of British advertising group WPP WPP.L, as its CFO, replacing Nik Jhangiani just over two years after he took up the role.
* JD SPORTS: British sports and fashion retailer JD Sports JD.L reported a 19.7% drop in first-half profit, hurt by weakness in its key North American market.
* WPP: WPP WPP.L opened a production facility in London, which the British company said was the first of a global roll-out to meet demand for high-quality ads that can be deployed across social media and other platforms at speed.
* PAY SETTLEMENTS: Pay settlements by British employers have cooled, adding to signs of a softer labour market as businesses said they faced higher employment costs and tighter budgets, a survey showed.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices extended declines, gold prices fell, and Copper drifted down.
