Oct 17 (Reuters) - German semiconductor company Aixtron AIXGn.DE adjusted its forecast for 2025 on Friday after registering weaker third-quarter results. The company recorded a gross profit of 46 million euro ($53.70 million) versus 67.1 million in the third quarter of 2024 and an operating result of 15 million euro ($17.51 million) versus 37.5 million in the same period of last year. It now expects 2025 revenues between 530 and 565 million euro ($659.58 million), at the lower half of the previous forecast.
Company's shares lost around 12% immediately after the announcement.
