European chip stocks rise on Nvidia read-across

** Shares in European tech and semiconductor companies rise, with traders pointing to Nvidia's NVDA.O strong results and Q4 forecast

** "Nvidia management's tone and outlook along with the beat and raise results should help to inject confidence back into the AI narrative again," analysts at HSBC say

** Tech stocks index .SX8P rises around 1.5% at 0815 GMT

** ASML ASML.AS, ASM International ASMI.AS and BE Semiconductor BESI.AS rise between around 2% and 3%

** STMicro STMPA.PA and Nordic Semiconductor NOD.OL are up between around 1% and 3%

** Infineon IFXGn.DE, Aixtron AIXGn.DE are also up between around 3% and 4%
