Refiles to correct spelling of Equinor in headline

COPENHAGEN, Dec 5 (Reuters) - Norway's Equinor< EQNR.OL> has made two new discoveries of gas and condensate in the North Sea, it said on Friday.

"These are Equinor's largest discoveries so far this year and can be developed for the European market through existing infrastructure," it said in a statement.

Preliminary estimates indicate that the reservoirs may contain between 30 million and 110 million barrels of oil equivalent, it added.

The discoveries were made near the Sleipner field, which is operated by the Norwegian oil and gas group.

Equinor owns 60% of the licence while Aker BP AKRBP.OL holds 40%.
