Akili up on submitting marketing application for ADHD digital therapy in Japan

** Shares of digital medicine company Akili  AKLI.O  more
than double to 51 cents
    ** AKLI says its Japanese partner Shionogi & Co  4507.T  has
submitted an application for its digital therapeutic, SDT-001,
for marketing approval with Japanese health regulator 
    ** SDT-001 is the Japanese version of EndeavorRx, a video
game-based digital therapeutic for improving attentional
functioning in pediatric ADHD patients
    ** The treatment received U.S. FDA approval in 2020
    ** The submission with Japanese health regulator is based on
results from a late-stage study conducted by Shionogi, where the
therapy showed improvement in inattention and hyperactivity in
patients aged 6 to 17 compared to placebo at 6 weeks - AKLI
    ** Including session's moves, stock has fallen 59.1% in the
last 12 months
