Australia's Alara Resources jumps on license renewal for Oman project

** Shares of Alara Resources  AUQ.AX  rise as much as 12.1%
to A$0.074, set for best day since April 19, if gains hold    
    ** Middle East-focused miner says it renewed its exploration
license for copper-gold area titled "Block 8" in Muscat, Oman
held by Alara's Omani JV company Awtad Copper LLC 
    ** Block 8 exploration license renewal had been pending
since 2013
    ** Stock hits highest level since May 10        
    ** About 703,675 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 522,718
    ** AUQ up over 57% YTD, as of last close
