    The European Commission has been given a full mandate to
examine the possibility of setting a price cap on gas imports
from Russia, Italy's Prime Minister Mario Draghi said on

    Italy plans to extend by six months to the end of this year
tax breaks for corporate mergers Rome had originally introduced

the Italian's company fixed network should its true value not be

    TIM has put a price tag of about 20 billion euros including
debt on the landline grid which the former phone monopoly could
sell as part of plan to create a unified national fibre company,

    The Italian energy services group said on Wednesday it had
agreed to sell its drilling onshore business to British-based
oil drilling contractor KCA Deutag (KCAD) for $550 million. As
part of the deal - which takes the Italian company further in
the achievement of its capital structure and liquidity
objectives - Saipem will also get a 10% stake in the combined

    The Italian company said on Wednesday it had agreed to
acquire a 5 billion cubic metre floating LNG regasification
terminal (FSRU) for $350 million from Golar LNG  GLNG.O . The
deal will support the country's energy security and

    The energy group is accelerating in defining the perimeter
of a new company that will include its agriculture and
biorefinery business, with the aim of listing it or selling a
minority stake to a private equity firm, daily MF reported. An
advisor to the sale should be appointed by year-end and the
company could be valued up to 10 billion euros, the paper added.

    The company said it signed a deal to acquire Dutch company
MP Solar BV, that owns 18 photovoltaic systems with a total
installed capacity of 33.8 MW and overall annual production of
46 GWh. The transaction is worth 128 million euros in terms of
enterprise value as of 31/12/2021 and closing of the agreement

    Generali's chief executive dismissed on Tuesday the idea of
a merger with lender UniCredit and denied recurring press
