** Blue Ant Media, founded by Canadian media luminary Michael MacMillan, plans to go public after reaching a deal to merge with Boat Rocker Media BRMI.TO.

** Japan's Seven & I Holdings 3382.T said on Monday that  Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard ATD.TO is downplaying the antitrust risks of a potential tie-up between the two retail giants and that it refuses to "blindly enter into a transaction with no clear path to closing".

** U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday he will in the very near future announce tariffs on automobiles, aluminum and pharmaceuticals.
