The Board of The Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company") notes the statement released by Thalassa Holdings Ltd ("Thalassa") on 1 December 2016, including the further comments of Thalassa's Chairman Mr Duncan Soukup, respecting the Circular to shareholders issued on 22 November 2016 and the General Meeting of the Company to be held on 8 December 2016. 
The Board has nothing further to add, and its recommendations regarding voting on the resolutions to be considered at the General Meeting remain as set out in the Circular.
