Poland's Alior Bank third-quarter net profit beats expectations GDANSK, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Poland’s Alior Bank ALRR.WA reported a smaller-than-expected 16% drop in third-quarter net profit on Tuesday, as higher provisions for disputes and an increased CIT tax rate weighed on earnings.

• The bank's net interest income was 1.31 billion zlotys, above market expectations of 1.28 billion zlotys.
• Net fee and commission income reached 243.9 million zlotys, beating the forecast of 241 million zlotys.
• Net expected credit losses came in at 73.5 million zlotys versus 123.8 million zlotys a year ago.
• Sales of mortgage loans to retail customers rose 43% on the year in the third quarter to 1.83 billion zlotys.
